Beijing audiences will have a chance to see a special Kung Fu dance drama late this month at the Baoli Theater.

Titled "Monk from the Shaolin Monastery", the dance drama tells the legendary story of a monk who is a Chinese Kung Fu master. Audiences will not only be entertained by a poetic love story and grand war scenes but can also enjoy genuine Chinese Kung Fu performances within the show.

The dance drama by the Henan-based Zhenzhou Singing and Dance Troop comes at a cost of some 20 million yuan, or close to 2.5 million US dollars, and includes over 100 performers.
